EFFECTIVE 29 OCTOBER 2026

Terms of use.

CrateRWD is provided by Brenton James Haddin, sole trader trading as CrateRWD, ABN 30 671 785 400, Queensland, Australia. Contact admin@craterwd.com about these terms.

The current service

CrateRWD provides Home organisation and Business inventory, hire, planning, maintenance and document tools. The web workspace and website subscriptions are available, the native iPhone app is in testing and the Android app is planned. Features and availability are described on the website and in the workspace; screenshots use example records.

Your account and business records

Provide accurate account details, use sign-in methods you control and protect access to your devices. Only upload information you are entitled to use and share. Business owners are responsible for inviting appropriate members, selecting roles and checking their business’s records. Do not access another person’s workspace, bypass limits, disrupt the service or upload unlawful material.

You retain your rights in information you supply. You permit us and our service providers to process it as needed to provide, secure and support the features you request, as described in our Privacy policy. Do not upload passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive documents.

Check operational records

Check physical quantities, asset condition, customer details and due dates before relying on a record. Condition photos, inspection checklists, SDS/MSDS storage, forms and signatures are records; CrateRWD does not certify legal compliance or equipment safety. You remain responsible for your business’s safety obligations, current documents and any agreement with a customer.

AI and Home design

AI identification, plan reading/refinement and help chat are optional. Review suggestions before accepting them: they may omit details or produce incorrect names, boundaries or advice. Floor layouts are organisation aids and estimates, not measured surveys, construction plans or professional safety advice. Refinement suggestions do not replace your edited draft until you accept them.

Access, storage and exports

Account features need an internet connection. Local captures and detailed iPhone house drawings are device-local; full house geometry and original plans do not currently sync to desktop. A local capture is not a cloud inventory entry until you confirm a supported save. Keep copies of important source files. CSV and JSON exports contain supported records and metadata, not every original file’s bytes or a complete recovery backup.

Pricing, trials and renewals

Website subscriptions and eligible Business trials are available through secure checkout. Signing up does not start a subscription or charge. Annual prices are A$149/year for Home Full and A$999/year for Business, including Australian GST. Home starts free with 50 item records. “Unlimited” in Home Full refers to item records; storage, AI and other published usage limits still apply.

When offered, the website Business trial is 15 days with a card required and automatically renews at the displayed annual price unless cancelled before the trial ends. Apple’s eligible Business introductory trial is 14 days; eligibility, local price and terms appear in Apple’s purchase sheet. Paid subscriptions renew through their purchase provider until cancelled. Read the plan and cancellation information.

Optional migration assistance

Assisted migration is an optional, separately quoted service. Scope, supported records, responsibilities, timing and price are agreed before paid work starts. A migration enquiry is not an order. Guided imports require review and reconciliation; historical hires do not become live hires, opening balances or payments.

Availability and support

We may maintain or change the service and need to restrict misuse or investigate security issues. Contact us if access or a save is interrupted; retain the same retry reference where provided. We do not promise continuous availability, instant support or automatic offline stock synchronisation.

Cancellation, deletion and consumer rights

Cancel a paid plan through the provider where you bought it. Deleting an app or requesting account deletion does not cancel that subscription. Use account deletion instructions for cloud records and download anything you need first. Contact us about billing mistakes or service problems.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or replaces rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Refunds and other remedies depend on the circumstances and applicable law; we do not apply a blanket “no refunds” rule.

Changes and questions

We will date updates to these terms and communicate material account or paid-plan changes through appropriate service channels. Contact us if an update affects your use or a subscription you already hold.
