A CONSIDERED SWITCH
Bring your
business over.
Start with your exports, map the columns and review the result before it becomes part of your workspace.
What you can bring
- Inventory: supported asset identifiers, names, tracking modes, categories, quantities and barcodes.
- Customers: supported customer and location details.
- Historical hires: previous hire records as a reference archive. This does not dispatch stock or establish active hire or payment balances.
Before you import
- Export CSV files from your current provider or spreadsheets and keep an untouched backup.
- Open Bring your business over in the CrateRWD web workspace. Choose the record type and map the available columns.
- Review the preview and validation messages. Resolve duplicated identifiers and check quantities, dates and customer matches.
- Confirm an approved import, then reconcile totals and physical stock. Keep your old system available until you have checked the move.
Export formats and field coverage vary. Attachments, photos, open hires, financial balances, custom integrations and unsupported fields are not automatically carried over. Real customer exports still need their own reconciliation; a successful sample import does not prove every provider’s data will transfer unchanged.
Open guided transfer ↗Optional paid assistance
We can discuss help with preparing exports, mapping fields, reviewing an import and planning a handover. Assistance is separate from the subscription. We agree the records, responsibilities, timing and total quote before paid work begins; no fee is charged by this enquiry.
